Thrift Coordinator – Job Description

The Thrift Coordinator shall be directly responsible to the Operations Manager.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Sort, clean, price and merchandise the thrift store items.
  2. Manage seasonal sales and timing.
  3. Manage volunteers as assigned by Operations Manager.
  4. Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be required or assigned by the Executive Director or Operations Manager.

 

Qualifications

  1. Ability to evaluate and price merchandise as well as getting merchandise sale ready.
  2. Organizational skills.
  3. Good decision making.
  4. Awareness of retail value of donated items.
  5. Ability to relate with a wide variety of individuals.
  6. The ability to speak, read, and write clearly.
