Thank you Ben!
For the past seven years Ben Spicer has poured his heart and soul into the Help Center as the Executive Director. He has been instrumental in the revitalization of the organization, re-establishing it as a place of hope and support while laying the foundation for a brighter future for many Wilson County residents.
Arriving during a reputational downturn, Ben led the center through seven years of challenges in Wilson County’s ever changing landscape. Ben was responsible for the rebranding and refocusing of the Help Center and it’s iconic “Hands” logo which was celebrated at the Center’s thirtieth anniversary event two years ago. Most recently Ben led the Center through uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic and its resource challenges, as well as overseeing the Center’s new face-lift of resurfaced flooring, fresh new shelving, exterior donation shelter, parking re-pavement and reorganized inventory.
Ben has decided that with all the successes that he has led the Center in achieving, it’s time for him to tackle new dreams. Ben Spicer has resigned as Executive Director of the Wilson County Help Center to pursue new opportunities. The Help Center family wishes him success in his future endeavors and is certain that his energy, compassion and creative spirit will truly be missed.
All the best,
Wilson County Community Help Center Board of Directors
