The Wilson County Community Help Center created in 1988 was established with the vision and support of area churches. The objective of the Help Center is to provide food, clothing, household necessities, and financial assistance for utilities, gasoline and prescription drugs for individuals in need in our community, along with Ensure for our elderly and cancer patients. It was also established as a clearing house for area churches.

Picture ID for applicant
Social Security Cards for everyone in home
Proof of Wilson County residency

Current mail with applicant name (within 30 days)

Car registration
Or referral from school, church, or a shelter (must have letter with name of client, dated, signed and phone number)
FREE CLOTHING GIVEN EVERY 60 DAYS
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WITH UTILITIES
Additional Requirements Copy of past due bill
Bill must be in name of applicant or spouse
Letter if different with explanation
FREE ENSURE GIVEN EVERY 30 DAYS

if client unable to pick up will need a note giving someone else permission to pick up
GAS VOUCHER (FOR OUT OF TOWN DOCTOR VISIT ONLY)
